Farmhouse Menu

Portions for 1 person

Mixed Appetizers

• Sweet and sour pumpkin and caramelized onions

• Aubergine and artichoke caponata (aubergines, artichokes, celery, onion, capers, olives, sweet and sour tomato sauce)

• Burrata, a selection of cheeses and olives dressed with celery, carrots, garlic, mint leaves and bay leaves

• Panelle (chickpea flour pancakes seasoned with salt and pepper), cauliflower in batter

• Parmigiana-style eggplant rolls stuffed with scamorza cheese

• Omelette with buffalo ricotta and black truffle

Homemade pasta

• Agrigento-style eggplant stuffed with cavatelli.

(half aubergine stuffed with pasta topped with tomato sauce, basil, mozzarella and salted ricotta)

Main course

• Stuffed pepper, breadcrumbs, pecorino cheese, provolone, tomato sauce, garlic and parsley

• Mixed salad with oranges, fennel, shallots, olives and mint

Dessert

• Sicilian cannolo

Mixed Appetizers

• Pork sausage with ”friarielli” vegetable and au gratin stuffed mushrooms with pecorino, breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic and tomato.

• Aubergine and artichoke caponata (aubergines, artichokes, celery, onion, capers, olives, sweet and sour tomato sauce).

• Polpette di “Nunnata” or “Bianchetto” (Fish balls, on sweet and sour pumpkin and caramelized onions)

• Buffalo ricotta, a selection of cheeses, cured meats, olives dressed with celery, carrots, garlic, mint leaves and bay leaves

• Mixed seafood salad with octopus, shrimps, mussels, clams and squid.

• Sardine meatballs with tomato sauce, raisins, pine nuts and mint

Homemade pasta

You can choose between two types of pasta:

• Fish couscous in Sicilian- / Trapani- style

or

• Pasta o furnu , in Palermo-style (pasta in the shape of small rings, baked in the oven, topped with bolognese sauce, aubergines, hard-boiled egg, peas, parmesan, cooked ham and mozzarella)

Main course

• Lamb chop ”cunzato” (seasoned) with lemon, mint and garlic

• Sicilian-style beef rolls stuffed with provolone, grated bread, raisins, pine nuts, pecorino cheese, tomato sauce and garlic

• Homemade pork sausage, seasoned with Ragusan caciocavallo, dried tomatoes and Sicilian fennel seeds

Dessert:

Sicilian cannolo.
