Fresh Pasta
All our fresh pastas, ravioli, culurgiones, tortelli and cappelletti, need to be cooked for ca. 4/5 minutes in boiling water previously salted (to your liking).
Busiate and maccarruna keep their distinct and compact texture even after cooking.
Sauces
- Norma
- Pasta with sardines
- Tomato, basil and parmigiano cheese
- Mediterranea
- Sicilian Sauce
Just add a half glass of water in the box and warm it for ca. 3,5 minutes in the microwave (box with cover) or warm it in a covered pan over a medium heat for 1,5 minutes.
Once cooked, all pastas need to be put into a pan together with the previously warmed up sauce and then stirred for 1 minute over a high heat.
Before serving the pasta, add the grated cheese on top. For the Pasta with Sardines, we provide you with toasted bread crumbs, also to be placed on top before serving.
Exceptions: The salsa trapanese must be only stirred in a pan with the previously cooked pasta.
Sauce with prawns and pistachio pesto: Put the prawns in a pan, pour a half glass of water into the box, stir it and then pour it into the same pan where the prawns are. Cover the pan and let the prawns cook over a medium heat for ca. 3 minutes, turning them from time to time until they will be well cooked on all sides. Once cooked, put them on a plate. Once cooked, pour the pasta into the same pan where the prawns were and add the pistachio pesto with the heat tuned off. Stir the pasta with the pesto and serve it.
